Mohini tries to touch Bhagwati, but Shakti stops her. Shakti insists that Mohini shouldn’t touch Bhagwati. The paramedics then take Bhagwati’s body away. Shakti warns Mohini that she won’t spare her. Mohini pleads with Shakti to let her go, at least for today. The police ask Shakti what she’s doing. Shakti tells them that Bhagwati was murdered.

She claims she saw a snake wrapped around Bhagwati’s neck, hanging from the fan. The police ask if Shakti was the only one who saw this, and she confirms, adding that the rest of the family only came in after breaking down the door. The police ask if she was alone with Bhagwati, and Shakti says yes.
Shiv worries that Shakti might get into trouble if she keeps talking. He tries to stop her, but she continues. The police tell Shakti she needs to come to the station. Meanwhile, Manorama and the entire Sharma family decide to visit the Kashyap family to offer their condolences for Bhagwati’s death.
Raghunath and Kamalnath tell the police they can’t take Shakti without a formal complaint. Shiv also intervenes, asking the police to let Shakti go. The police explain that they’re only taking her in for questioning, not arresting her. They ask Shiv to let them do their job. Shiv reassures Shakti that he won’t let anything happen to her. The police then take Shakti away.

Karthik comes downstairs looking for Shakti. He asks the Kashyap family where she is. Mohini, making up an excuse, takes Karthik back inside. The Sharma family arrives at Kashyap Niwas, where the Kashyap family greets them. Karthik asks to see Shakti and inquires where she is. Shiv explains that Shakti received an urgent call from the hospital and had to leave.
Karthik shares that he had a bad dream and wants to tell Shakti about it. Shiv comments on the situation, and Karthik mentions that Shakti usually comforts him by placing her hand on his head and telling him that bad dreams will go away. He asks Shiv to do the same, and Shiv obliges.

At the police station, the police question Shakti, reminding her that she’s the only witness to Bhagwati’s death. Shakti insists that a shape-shifting serpent, who is actually Mohini, is responsible. The police laugh at her story. Shakti demands they stop laughing and assures them she’s telling the truth.
The police ask Shakti where Mohini came from. Shakti recalls the incident but realizes she can’t reveal the truth about the accident. The police accuse Shakti of lying and tell her she won’t leave until she tells the truth. As they are about to leave the interrogation room, Shakti sees a snake on the clock. She alerts the police, but when they check, there’s no snake. The police make a comment about Shakti and then leave.
