Yash tells Deepika he believes Chirag will handle everything and even asks for her hand in marriage in front of Ghanshyam. He suggests Deepika meet Chirag before making a decision. The scene shifts to the temple, where Yash and Deepika begin worshipping.
Chirag is worried about his mother and decides he must tell her the truth. Meanwhile, Yash tells Deepika that there’s something else she needs to know about Chirag. He reveals that Chirag cannot become a father due to a medical condition.
As Yash closes his eyes in sorrow, Deepika hears a child crying. When Yash opens his eyes, he sees Deepika holding a child. This assures Yash that Ghanshyam will take care of Deepika and bless her.
Chirag gathers his family to announce his decision to marry, promising the girl he loves. Lavanya is upset that Chirag didn’t consult her before deciding. Omkar tries to calm Lavanya down, but she’s concerned for Chirag and doesn’t want her dreams for him to be shattered.

Chirag feels conflicted because his mother doesn’t like Deepika. He tells Lavanya that he plans to move to America after the marriage. Lavanya, however, refuses to let him leave her.
Deepika serves halwa to her father. Yash insists that Deepika should meet Chirag and listen to what he has to say. He requests that she meet Chirag, and Deepika promises her father she will. Yash tells her to get ready for the meeting. As Deepika prepares to meet Chirag, Sobha tries to keep her occupied with housework.
Yash insists that Deepika has an important task ahead. Sobha then asks Yash what’s going on between him and his daughter. Yash tells her that Deepika is about to get married. Manorama thinks Yash is joking, but Janvi tells them to take it seriously, as they’re planning something big.
When Deepika meets Chirag, he tells her he wants to marry her. He apologizes if he has hurt her and asks if her father has told her the truth. Deepika confirms that her father has, but she tells Chirag that she doesn’t want to marry him. She believes she’s not beautiful enough to be his wife. Chirag reassures her that he likes her more than other girls. Despite his feelings, Deepika remains firm, saying she can’t marry him.
