Mangal Lakshmi written update, The episode begins with Adit and Sowmya placing their shoes on the stand near the temple. They then leave from the shoe stand. Kusum and Mangal follow, taking their slippers and leaving.
Mannan arrives and tells Mangal he had to take an important phone call outside the temple. He asks if their task is finished. Mangal confirms that it is. Mannan wants to know more details about the girl and asks for her photo.

Mangal notices Shalini hasn’t sent the photo yet. Mangal reassures Mannan, suggesting he meet the girl at a café. Mannan agrees.
Sowmya requests the pandit to perform their marriage immediately. The pandit agrees and begins the wedding ritual. Adit applies sindhur to Sowmya’s hairline and is about to place the mangalsutra around her neck when Shalini arrives.
She stops the ceremony and questions Sowmya about Adit. Sowmya insists on going through with the wedding, whether Shalini agrees or not. She asks for Shalini’s blessing, but Shalini refuses and makes a comment.
Sowmya snaps out of her daydream. Adit asks what she was thinking about. Sowmya explains she had a bad dream and comments on it. The pandit instructs Adit to apply sindhur to Sowmya’s hairline. Adit agrees and notices the temple bell is about to fall on Sowmya. He quickly pulls her away.
Mangal Lakshmi Written Update 14th August 2024
The pandit warns Adit and Sowmya that the falling temple bell is an inauspicious sign. He advises them to get their parents’ consent before proceeding with the marriage.
Shalini is about to send Sowmya’s photo to Mangal but stops when she overhears two women gossiping about the falling temple bell and the pandit’s comment about the inauspicious timing.
Adit tells Sowmya they can’t go through with the marriage. Sowmya asks why he has become superstitious. Adit explains it’s not superstition but a warning. He also reminds Sowmya that they are already married and won’t get legal approval for this marriage. Sowmya argues with Adit and realizes he won’t marry her today. She makes a comment and leaves.

Sowmya is later shown in a hotel room. She receives a call from her mother, who tells her Shalini found a match for her. Sowmya agrees to meet the match at 5 PM in the café.
Sudesh, Mannan, Kusum, and Mangal discuss Mannan’s potential match. Adit joins them and learns that Mangal has chosen a match for Mannan. Adit advises Mannan to think carefully before agreeing to the marriage, as he doesn’t know what kind of girl Mangal has picked. Mannan responds to Adit’s advice.
Adit calls Sowmya, asking if he can meet her. Sowmya tells him to meet her at Sinalove café at 5 PM. Adit tries to change the time or place, but Sowmya doesn’t agree. Adit decides to meet Sowmya before his family arrives at the café.
