Mera Balam Thanedaar 12th August 2024 written update, The episode begins with Bulbul asking Miti Mai about her blood tears. She reassures Miti Mai not to worry. Miti Mai tells Bulbul that Veer is safe but on the wrong path. Bulbul insists that Veer won’t stray and asks for forgiveness. Miti Mai comforts her, saying there’s nothing to fear and mentions that God has chosen a sister-in-law for her. Bulbul feels grateful. She senses Veer’s presence and returns home.

At home, Sulakshana asks Bulbul about Miti Mai’s decision. Bulbul shows a photo, and Sulakshana expresses approval. She tells Varadha that Bulbul always brings joy to everyone. Sulakshana notices Bulbul’s sadness, missing Veer, and decides to cheer her up. The family gathers with snacks and ice cream, and Sulakshana feeds Bulbul.
They suggest a picnic to lift her spirits, and Viyuk mentions Veer’s absence. They place Veer’s photo beside Bulbul and enjoy their time together. Bulbul tells them that her college is preparing to celebrate Independence Day, and she has been given all the responsibilities. She adds that Independence Day is significant for Veer.
Meanwhile, Veer struggles with a passcode and, in frustration, throws the charcoal away. Bulbul appears, calming him and advising him to relax and think about the passcode. She holds his hand, writes on the floor, and assures him it’s simple to solve. She kisses his cheek, making him smile. When he realizes Bulbul was just in his imagination, Veer is surprised to find the passcode cracked. He reflects on Bulbul’s help, even in her absence, and prepares to stop Miti Mai’s midnight attack.

At the same time, Bulbul narrates her childhood memories of celebrating Independence Day and reciting an essay. She explains the details to her family. Sulakshana mentions that tomorrow is a significant day (vrid) and she needs rest for the puja. Bulbul questions how the puja will proceed without Veer, but Sulakshana insists that it must be done for his protection. Bulbul sets up everything for the puja, vowing to do it every year until she learns more about Veer.
In the background, Veer battles goons while Miti Mai performs a puja in her ashram. Sulakshana prays to Mahadev, believing he will protect them as he once drank poison to save the world. Bulbul thinks she hears Veer’s voice in the ashram, but Miti Mai deceives her, saying only they can hear it. The goons capture Veer, and Miti Mai mocks his family for their misplaced trust, warning that they will return.
